Join us on Saturday Mornings! Saturday Morning STEM is a five class series of hands-on experiences designed to introduce middle and high school students to Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Saturday Morning STEM Middle School Sessions:
5th and 6th Grade Engineering Explorers will introduce students to engineering concepts with five Saturday morning sessions, each focused on a different engineering theme. Students will participate in group projects and hands-on activities and learn about different real world applications in each class. Topics will include:

5th and 6th Grade Robo Rangers is an engaging and hands-on program designed to introduce 5th and 6th-grade students to the exciting world of robotics using the VEX IQ platform. Through collaborative challenges, students will explore the fundamentals of robotics, engineering, and problem-solving while building and programming their own robots. The program fosters creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork, helping students develop skills essential for future STEM opportunities.
7th and 8th Grade Engineering Innovators program will engage students in deeper exploration of engineering concepts through five Saturday morning sessions, each focused on a different engineering discipline. Through hands-on projects, problem-solving activities, and collaborative teamwork, students will apply engineering principles to real-world challenges while learning about various career pathways in the field.

7th and 8th Grade CodeQuest is an exciting computer science program designed for students to explore both the technical foundations and real-world applications of coding and technology. The first half of the program will focus on essential computer science concepts, including programming fundamentals, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques. In the second half, students will put their skills to the test by practicing their new programming skills in real-world applications. Through hands-on activities, team-based projects, and creative problem-solving, students will gain both technical knowledge and practical experience, preparing them for future studies and careers in the digital world!
*7th and 8th Grade CodeQuest will run one week later, beginning April 3rd-May 10th (no class on April 19th)
Classes will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from March 29th, 2025-May 3rd, 2025 (no class on April 19th for Easter holiday)

5th and 6th Grade Mighty Mathematicians is designed to strengthen students' foundational math skills while introducing them to advanced mathematical concepts. Through engaging activities, interactive lessons, and real-world applications, students will review key math topics such as fractions, decimals, and basic geometry, while gradually exploring more complex areas like pre-algebra, problem-solving strategies, and logical reasoning.
7th and 8th Grade Future Fixers is designed for students to explore the critical topics of environmental science and sustainability, empowering them to become informed and proactive stewards of the planet. Through hands-on experiments, interactive lessons, and community projects, students will learn about the interconnection of natural systems, the impact of human activities on the environment, and the importance of sustainable practices. The program aims to inspire a passion for protecting the Earth and equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to a sustainable future.

7th and 8th Grade VEX Venture is an immersive robotics program designed to introduce 7th and 8th-grade students to the world of robotics using the VEX EXP platform. Through hands-on robot construction, students will learn key engineering principles as they assemble and design robots with sensors, motors, and structural components. They will use VEXcode to explore both block-based and introductory text-based programming, enabling their robots to perform autonomous and driver-controlled tasks. Students will apply the engineering design process, working through cycles of brainstorming, prototyping, and refining to solve exciting, real-world-inspired challenges. The program culminates in a friendly competition, where students put their skills to the test and celebrate their achievements.
Classes will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from January 18th, 2025-February 15th, 2025.

This program will provide students with a solid foundation in Python coding, from basic syntax and data structures to more advanced topics like object-oriented programming and real-world application development. Through hands-on projects, collaborative coding exercises, and problem-solving challenges, students will develop the skills needed to excel in Python programming and prepare for further studies or careers in technology.

9th-10th Grade Forensics Uncovered is an exciting, hands-on program designed to introduce 9th and 10th-grade students to the world of forensic science. Students will explore how scientific principles are applied in crime scene investigations, learning about the techniques professionals use to collect, analyze, and interpret evidence. Through engaging activities and real-world case studies, students will gain insight into various forensic fields, such as fingerprint analysis, DNA testing, toxicology, and crime scene reconstruction.
11th-12th Grade Careers in Cybersecurity is a dynamic program designed to introduce 11th and 12th-grade students to the essential concepts of cybersecurity and the diverse career opportunities in the field. In an increasingly digital world, understanding how to protect sensitive information is crucial, and this program equips students with foundational knowledge in areas like network security, encryption, ethical hacking, and cyber forensics. Students will participate in hands-on activities, such as securing networks, decrypting codes, and simulating cyberattacks to learn how cybersecurity professionals identify and neutralize threats. They will also explore the ethical and legal aspects of cybersecurity while discovering how cybersecurity impacts industries like finance, healthcare, and government.
Classes will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from January 18th, 2025-February 15th, 2025.

Refund Policy:
- Application fees are nonrefundable.
- For all student programs except Academy College Courses and Options for Advanced Academic Achievement, tuition is refundable up until 1 month prior to the start of the program. After this date, tuition is nonrefundable. A written request for the refund must be received prior to the 1 month deadline.
- For Academy College Courses and Options for Advanced Academic Achievement, please note the NJIT add/drop deadlines.
